3D Model representing GNR 18 Foot Ventilated Fruit and Fish Clerestoried Vans.
The model is split into 4 components:
1) Fruit Van Body
2) Fish Van Sides
3) Fixed Rigid Underframe
4) Compensated Underframe
The Fruit Van Body is complete and the modeller is free to choose either type of underframe to go with it.
For the Fish Van only the sides are included as these are a simple replacement for the sides supplied with the Fruit Van everything else being the same.
The Fixed Underframe is intended to be used with brass pin-point bearings and the axles are fixed. A representation of the W-Irons and brake gear is included.
For the Compensated Underframe it is assumed that brass rocking or sprung w-irons are used and the axles are slotted accordingly to take brass pin-point waisted bearings. Brakes are not included as it assumed they will be supplied as part of the brassworks.
Both underframes feature a GNR No 12 axlebox and spring which does not feature in the separate GNR Axleboxes package.
The bodies are intended to be fitted with Wizard/MJT/Gibson sprung buffer heads.
As with my other models, each assembly is split down into separate parts, to give the modeller the option of printing with best orientation/support settings, or compositing into larger assemblies as desired.
If Cura reports issues in some parts they should still print ok.
