Description:
3D Model represents a GNR Diagram 84 4 compartment First (body dimensions 33′ 8 3/8″ x 7’9″) 6 wheel carriage. The stl is as supplied to Shapeways but has been broken down into its component parts. End user will need to devise their own orientation and supports to suit their printer and may choose to composite elements into larger printable structures.
Not supplied are floor, partitions and seating. Note that the ends rebate into the sides (see image in images directory). Underframe was designed to use sprung etched outer w-irons. Buffer bases on ends are intended to accept sprung heads such as those from Wizard, MJT, Alan Gibson etc.
All these files have successfully printed at Shapeways having passed their rigourous model vetting process, however there were still a few model issues. This v2 release has had the issues resolved.
