The index comprises Scans of the Index pages of showing vehicle numbers with the 1946 Vehicle renumber adjacent to the original LNER vehicle number, Vehicle diagram and date built.
The pages are arranged “East Coast Joint Stock” and “ex LNER Standard Carriages”, pages arranged by vehicle type e.g. “First and First Brakes” etc.
LNER Electric Stock is also included, 1920, 1937 and 1949 vehicles being noted.
It should be noted that “East Coast Joint Stock” for this document covers the LNER period stock, with diagrams dated from 1925 to 1950, the majority of vehicles noted being Thompson era vehicle diagrams.
