A facsimile copy of the 1906 Great Northern Railway Illustrations of Wagon Stock with added tables to provide GA’s, Photograph references and census information, where known.
The originals of this publication were provided to Goods facilities for use as a guide to select the correct wagon for the load being transported. The publication has index pages and photograph pages that show types of wagon in each category, Open, Machinery Wagons, Timber Wagons, Covered Goods Wagons, Cattle Wagons, Tank Wagons, Engineers Wagons and Goods Breaks. Each photograph provides details of the wagons: Length, Width, Wheelbase, Capacity, Load etc
