British Railways Layout Plans of 1950’s – Cheshire Lines Committee & Assoc GCR lines Pt 1 v13

by John Swift

Although this book is set for a period well after the end of the GNR, the Cheshire Lines Committee rails were kept independent of the Grouping enforced amalgamations of 1923 and lasted until full nationalisation into British Railways in 1948. The book will have much information with regards to stations and track layouts that will have dated back into the GNR and early CLC era.
